These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the v2live iPhone app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. This page is provided for transparency and App Store requirements; it is not legal advice.
1. The app
v2live lets you select a video on your device and convert a clip into an Apple Live Photo, then save it to your photo library when you choose. Core conversion is intended to run on your device. Features, limits, and availability may change as we update the app.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use v2live on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store terms and these Terms. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or use the app for unlawful purposes.
3. Free features and ads
Basic use of v2live is free, subject to limits we publish in the app (for example, a maximum Live Photo export duration for free users). Free use may include banner advertisements after you start a conversion. Advertising is described further in our Privacy Policy.
4. Pro subscriptions and purchases
Optional Pro access may unlock longer export duration, remove ads, and any other benefits shown at purchase time. Pro may be offered as:
- Auto-renewable subscriptions (for example monthly or yearly), billed through your Apple ID; or
- A one-time (non-consumable) purchase for lifetime access, if offered.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (wording may vary by iOS version). Manage, cancel, or request refunds through Apple; we cannot cancel Apple subscriptions on your behalf.
Prices are shown in the app and App Store at the time of purchase and may vary by region. We may change prices for future periods as permitted by Apple’s rules.
5. Your content
You retain rights to videos and photos you process with v2live. You are responsible for having the rights to use that content and for complying with applicable law. We do not claim ownership of your media.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access to related systems, or use it to infringe others’ rights. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms are violated.
7. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Live Photo results can vary by device, iOS version, and source media; we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Pro access in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) zero if you only used free features—except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Privacy
How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your understanding of the service together with these Terms.
10. Third-party services
The app may rely on Apple platforms (App Store, StoreKit, Photos) and third parties such as advertising or purchase infrastructure providers. Their terms and policies also apply to those services.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms when the app or legal requirements change. The “last updated” date above will be revised when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app and cancel any subscriptions via Apple.

13. Apple standard EULA
Where required, licensed application end user terms may also include Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If there is a conflict between that EULA and these Terms regarding Apple’s role as the storefront, Apple’s terms control for that subject.
